FAQ

Common questions

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. I’m Philadelphia-based and offer telehealth across Pennsylvania.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Psychotherapy is healthcare and focuses on assessment/treatment of mental health concerns within the scope of clinical practice (and jurisdictional licensure rules).

Coaching is not psychotherapy and is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Coaching can support goals, habits, relational skills, creative work, and reflective integration.

Location note: I provide psychotherapy for clients located in Pennsylvania. Coaching may be available to clients located outside Pennsylvania.

Do you take insurance?

This can be customized. Many clinicians are out-of-network and provide superbills for reimbursement. If you’d like, we can add the exact policy you use.

Is email/text okay?

You’re welcome to email or call/text to inquire. For your privacy, please avoid including sensitive clinical details over email/text. We can choose a more secure channel once we’re in contact.

What if I’m in crisis?

If you’re in immediate danger, call 911. If you need immediate support in the U.S., you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
